Support Our Troops
Jeffrey, my brother, is in the Marines and we are all very proud of the man that he has become. He is going to Iraq in the not to distant future. Please pray for him and his wife. Jeff is very recently married. I have put a picture of Jeff and his wife as well as Jeff and our mom below. Please pray for them all. The Marines Prayer

Well, it is May now and Jeff has been in Iraq for awhile now. He had a bit of a hard time adjusting at first, but now seems to be settled in quite nicely. He is safe and healthy, although he has had a couple of close calls. With our continued prayers I am sure that he will come home safe in the near future. I have talked to him on the phone a couple of times and he was excited because he got to drive a humvee while he was on patrol. He got a purple heart which is what they get anytime the enemy draws blood and if I am remembering right he got some shrapnel in his leg from a bomb that went off 25 feet away from him! Pray Pray Pray

Jeff has been in Iraq for some time now and a couple of weeks ago he recieved a visit from the congressman from his home state! I guess that is was quite a moral booster for Jeff! Anyways about a week ago we recieved this letter from the senator. Click it to enlarge.
