Vacation May 8, 2006

As my children would say. . . "Only one more sleep 'til Florida!" We are all looking forward very much to our trip to Florida. Of course we have no money so it is all thanks to my in laws. We will even have a car to drive around while we are out there because my mom in law just bought a 1994 Mustang! Must be rought having to drive that around all the time! Well, anyways, I was going to post a picture of it on here, but I couldn't find it so this one will have to do. It is close enough anyways. Although it isn't a picture of my mother in law, I think it is my father in law, but I can't quite tell. Could be the guy that sold it to them.

Long Time No Post May 5, 2006

    Well, what can I say? I guess my life isn't very exciting because I haven't posted for awhile and I still don't have anything to say! Except that this semester at school has been extremely trying and now is nearly over.  I have this one professor that plays favorites and I am clearly not one of them!  She is all sweet and nice in class, but when you see her one on one she is very unfriendly and cold.  She is never in her office when she is supposed to be.  She has even stood me up twice!  I had an appointment to meet with her twice and she didn't show up!  Well, anyways I only have 2 finals left and then I am done for the summer!  I have a summer job working at Wal-mart and they seem to be keeping me busy for now. Kirsten has a job working at the Crisis Nursery which is a home for families that are in trouble. As for the kids they are all doing pretty well. Matthew and Emily have had strep throat this week, but are recovering quickly.

Speaking of Walmart, they are trying to build one in Lima! I think that it is great but there are many many people in the area that are against it. I can't see why. I guess they are worried about local business going out, traffic and the store being an eye sore. Well, I hope they build it because for one it would produce nearly 500 jobs, not to mention the tax revenue it would generate. Plus I wouldn't have to drive to Geneseo or Henrietta each time I needed something and with gas being as expensive as it is that adds up to quite a savings for me! We are all looking forward to our trip to Florida which is coming up on May 10th. Kirsten and Catlin are flying down and my father-in-law, Matthew, Emily, and I are driving down. Please pray for us!! Pray for patience! Hopefully we will make it to Florida with two children that are still in one piece! LOL. I will be posting pictures of our trip as soon as I have some. I want committment! OR Should I be committed? February 2, 2006

Well, I’m writing, but I really don’t have anything new to report. Classes are going well for both Kirsten and I and we have settled pretty well into our new routine. Don’t know what all those other bloggers out there have to write about. I mean I guess I could write about some techy stuff and whatnot but that would just bore you, I mean not that this isn’t boring, but I feel guilty for not having posted in a while. Sorry if my life isn’t interesting enough for you. If you don’t like it then I suppose you could find some other wild and crazy blog to read. I know you have difficulty with committment, but I am not asking for a ring or anything. Just some attention! You probably want somebody, ahh oops, I mean some blog who is exciting and living on the edge all the time, well, I am sorry, but that just isn’t me, I guess I can’t give you what you want in a relationship of this type. I guess I will not write again until I have some earth shattering event to report on! Goodbye!

Same Old Song January 26, 2006

Well, school has started once again and we are setteling into our new routine.  Actually it is quite crazy.  Monday’s and Wednessdays we get up at 6am and drop Matthew and Catlin off to the sitters so they can get on the bus.  From there Kirsten, Emily and I go directly to school as Kirsten has a class at 8am.  I hang around with Emily in the Library until she has to be at school and then drop her off.  Then I go to class until 11:30 at which time Emily has to be picked up from school.  Kirsten, Emily and I have lunch together and then we go to our 2 afternoon classes of which Emily alternates between Kirsten and I.  She is amazingly good in class!  By the time that she gets to Kindergarden she will have logged more college time than any of her classmates!!   When we are finally ready to go home at 5:15 we are all pretty tired.(especially Emily who usually falls asleep in the car on the way home.

Tuesday and Thursdays are much easier days as I only have one class so Emily and I hang out in the library until Kirsten is ready to go home around 3.  Friday’s I go to school all alone Kirsten worked her schedule so that she has 3 day weekends!  Notice that she didn’t work mine that way.  Wonder what she does that I should know about!  Anyways that is our Daily Grind.

Where is the snow!! January 20, 2006

I love snow, but this year it is hard to come by. I feel sorry for all the skiers out there. Last week we had a day that was 65 and today it was 55!! This is January! I think. Maybee I will move south to someplace where I can see the sun. I don’t think we have seen it for nearly the entire winter. I am whiter than white. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that I am sitting in my basement working on the computer all the time!!
